COVID-19 Policy and COVID safe plan

In the case of a government enforced lock-down we will always be flexible and work with you to move your booking to another date if required (subject to availability). Everything is sanitized and washed. 


What if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel your booking, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to delivery. All booking deposits are non-refundable. However, we can work with you to book for another date.


Who is Liable for damages?

As per our Agreement, the hirer will be held liable for any damages caused during the hire. Please read our Terms & Conditions thoroughly to avoid any doubt.


What size is the igloo? / How much space do I need?

Our igloo has a diameter of 360 cm. Max height is 220cm. Base area is 10 m2. Best enjoyed with roughly a 4.5 - 5m diameter. At this stage no public spaces backyards only.


How far do you travel?

We cover various areas in Brisbane and Gold Coast within a 40km radius. Delivery Charges apply after 40km's; $3per km up to 100km. If your out of 100km please send us an email and we can work out if we can come to you.


Where are we based?

Pimpama, Gold Coast.


Are the igloos okay in the hotter/ colder months?

The igloos like a greenhouse will get hot, sometimes 10 degrees hotter, therefore in the summer months we are only available for late afternoon/ evening hire. As for the colder months, they are designed to eliminate wind chill and keep a cozy temperature. Pssst keep the windows closed.


What happens now I've booked?

Someone from our team will contact you to get more details about your booking, and delivery times. Please be aware that décor in pictures may vary. 

Definition of Terms


‘The Owner’ is Igloo Event Hire Gold Coast, Pimpama.


‘The Hirer’ is the company, firm or persons specified below, including their successors or personal representatives.


‘Equipment’ includes all igloos, projectors, screens, lighting, furniture, décor, accessories and other hire equipment booked for the hire period.

If you do not understand any information contained within this document, or require further clarification on any of the points below, please speak to your installation team or contact IEH gc directly. We require all persons hiring equipment to have read and understood the contents of this document. In hiring any equipment from igloo event hire gc, it is deemed that the following terms and conditions are accepted.


We reserve the right to refuse hire at any point if the following terms and conditions have not been adhered to.




* The igloos require a minimum of 2 people to install and to take down. We will fully install the fixture on delivery.

*ABSOLUTELY NO EXTERNAL HEAT SOURCES ARE PERMITTED FOR USE INSIDE OF THE IGLOO such as candles, heaters or anything that produces heat and or flames - doing so could potentially result in damages in which the hirer (yourself) will absorb the cost and forfeit their security deposit.

* Our igloos are "pop up" designs and come with doors and windows that can be easily opened during your hire. The igloos are not a permanent structure and can be damaged in very severe weather conditions.


* Should the igloo be damaged during the hire period, the customer will be responsible for the repair costs. If the igloo is damaged beyond repair, the customer is responsible to cover the replacement cost of $1900.

Payments & Security Policy


*A $200 deposit is required within 2 days of your reservation to confirm your booking and reserve your requested dates of hire. The balance of your hire is due 7 days before your booking. 
This $200 will be used as your DAMAGE deposit which is fully refundable after collection and inspection of ALL hire items. $200 Damage deposit will be held until the completion of your booking and returned within 2 days and the terms are as follows:

Should any equipment become damaged during any hire period, the repair costs will be deducted from the hirer's security deposit. If the repair costs exceed the deposit balance, then the hirer will be wholly responsible for payment of the remaining balance.

The hirer shall be responsible for ensuring the security of the equipment at all times. Any costs arising from the equipment not being secured, are chargeable to the hirer and will be deducted from the security deposit.


*No pets allowed in or on equipment. Cleaning chargers apply.

Guest Limit

Maximum guests in the igloo's is eleven at one time.

*No smoking in the igloo

Cancellation Policy


* We require a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to delivery if you need to cancel your booking. All booking deposits are non-refundable.


* If we arrive for installation and are unable to setup due to inadequate space for the equipment, inappropriate surface types or inaccessible areas, then the hirer remains liable for payment of the full booking.


* IEH gc reserve the right to cancel any booking where there is a potential health & safety risk to the hirer, their guests or the public. We will always provide as much notice as possible in these circumstances.

*In the case of severe weather, rain or 18km+ ph winds we will not be able to complete a set up. If you have an appropriate indoor / sheltered location we are happy and flexible to move on the day. If the completion of a set up is unable to go ahead due to weather, we are happy to reschedule your event to the next suitable/ available date.

Extent of Contract and Title


No conditions or warranties other than specified herein shall be implied or deemed to be incorporated to form part of the contract. The Owner will retain the title and ownership to the equipment.

Delivery and Collection Policy


* Prior to your booking any delivery costs will be confirmed.


* We may be able to deliver outside of the areas shown on our website. If you are outside these areas then please contact us to see if we can help.


* Delivery and collection slots will be confirmed with you 24-48 hours before the delivery date, once driving routes have been confirmed. Please ensure that you are available on the day of delivery and collection, during normal working hours.


* On installation, our team will be there to guide you through any equipment and controls, and advise on anything else needed for your rental.


* Please ensure that there is nearby power supply within 20 meters.


* On collection our team will ensure that all equipment is safely disassembled and fully disinfected.


* If we are unable to provide your delivery due to adverse weather, vehicle failure, illness or any other unfortunate situation, then we will inform you of this at the earliest possible opportunity. Should this occur, the hirer is entitled to either a full refund or booking for an alternative date.


* It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that there is adequate space for our products, and that the desired location is accessible and clear of any mess or debris. We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location.


* On collection, we will need access to the area and electricity source.


* You are wholly responsible for ensuring that all the equipment is returned in the condition that it was delivered. If any equipment is returned damaged or severely soiled, we will either charge for repair or, if the equipment is deemed unrepairable, claim the entire replacement value. We do not allow the hirer to

obtain their own repair services.


Any equipment which is not available at collection, must be returned to us, and a hire charge will be applied for the extra time period.
